Guinness/Diageo denied they had anything to do with it and made a big show of making YouTube pull it. Of course, by the time it was "denounced, banned, and pulled" it was re-distributed all over the web, making it suspiciously like some sort of viral stunt. I don't know whether it is or isn't brand activity but I've seen you drink Guinness and I'm not sure it's that sexy :-P All the fuss around this ad was ages ago.
